Every now and then I like to sit down and write a list of what posts I’d like to write in the future. My monthly favorites are almost always on that list, but for some reason or another I can never get myself to reflect on my past month and figure out what products I loved the most. After seeing a few YouTube videos of people sharing their favorites, I started to think about what I truly loved last month. After much though, I present to you my September favorites.Read more
Micellar water is one of my favorite makeup innovations in the past few years. It removes stubborn eye makeup without oil, it fixes makeup mistakes without leaving behind a residue and it doesn’t burn your eyes or skin like some eye makeup removers do. Since going vegan in the beginning of the year, I’ve had to switch up my skincare routine to cruelty-free and vegan products. Pacifica has a ton of micellar waters, but this was available when I went to Target. How does the Pacifica Micellar Cleansing Tonic stand up against my favorite micellar waters? Read below!
Today I’m doing my first Lush review! How nuts is that? I’ve had this blog for two years (I know!!!) and I still haven’t reviewed any Lush products. I’m reviewing the brand new Lush Bunny Moon Jelly Face Mask. These jelly face masks just came out on Sept. 1, and I snagged one of them during my last visit in store. Find out what I think of the Lush Bunny Moon Jelly Face Mask down below!
It’s winter, so that means your skin probably feels like a tight, angry desert. I know mine does! My cold last week kicked my skin’s butt and made my supple, glowy skin look haggard and like I took sand paper to my nose. After living in New York most of my life and now living in New England, I have a pretty good winter skincare routine down to combat awful winter skin. Check out my top 3 winter skincare essentials!
I’ve always wanted to try products from Glossier, but I always convince myself that I don’t need them. I’ll either say that I already have a cleanser that I already like or I do the math to figure out whether the $18 Milky Jelly Cleanser is cheaper per oz. than my current $22 cleanser. Why would I do this when I want to try the brand so bad? I’m not sure. But I finally convinced myself to try something from this brand, so for Christmas I received the Glossier The Supers serums. These serums receive a ton of hype on YouTube, on blogs and on Instagram, and I was skeptical about trying these. But did they live up to the hype? Read my Glossier The Supers review down below!
2016 was a wonderful year for my blog. Not only was it the first full year of blogging, but I got to try out a ton of cool stuff in the name of reviewing it for all of you. Some of things I bought were because I truly wanted them. But most of them were because I knew that you guys would enjoy reading reviews and seeing tutorials using these products.
After looking through my favorites throughout the year, I finally came up with a few select products that I can truly say stood out in 2016. These are the products that surprised me, made my day brighter or made me wonder how I lived without them.
Check out my 2016 year-end favorites down below!
I’ve always wanted to try a cleansing tool, but the Clarisonic was too much money and I’ve heard way too many horror stories to be comfortable investing in one. I saw the Foreo Luna Play at the checkout lines in Sephora and Ulta, and after pointing it out to my mom, I received one for Christmas. I wasn’t sure if I would like it at first or if it would ruin my skin on the first try. It turns out I feel the complete opposite. The Foreo Luna has worked wonder on my skin! One of topics I don’t really talk about on here is skincare. Skincare is such a personal part of our daily routine and everyone has a different way they cleanse, moisturize and treat their skin. Today I thought I would share my routine with you guys! Now I’m not talking about face masks or other special products I use on my skin every once in a while (although you can read about my favorite face masks here,) but I will share my favorite products that I use on a daily basis.
