It’s February empties time, which means me explaining my trash! Does anyone else think this concept is weird yet oddly satisfying? Looking at all the empties I’m accumulated during the month makes me feel better about my purchasing habits. It also makes me feel accomplished that I used up an entire product. Read what I thought about all these products down below!
2016 Year-End Favorites
01/04/20172016 was a wonderful year for my blog. Not only was it the first full year of blogging, but I got to try out a ton of cool stuff in the name of reviewing it for all of you. Some of things I bought were because I truly wanted them. But most of them were because I knew that you guys would enjoy reading reviews and seeing tutorials using these products.
After looking through my favorites throughout the year, I finally came up with a few select products that I can truly say stood out in 2016. These are the products that surprised me, made my day brighter or made me wonder how I lived without them.

MAC Captive Winter Makeup #FOTD
12/16/2016After a long time of not wearing makeup on a daily basis, it feels nice to finally wear proper makeup. I’ve been doing basic mascara and foundation for the past month since I haven’t really been anywhere. But now that I’m working full-time and working some seasonal hours, I’m wearing a full face again and I’m enjoying it. For this look I decided to use MAC Captive, a lipstick I featured in my top 5 lipsticks for winter. Find out how I got this look down below!
My Makeup Staples
10/21/2016I was cleaning out my makeup stash the past few weeks and took a look at what I was using and what I haven’t touched in years. I got to some items that were easy to toss or giveaway and some were harder. I realized that there were a select few items in my collection that I didn’t know how I would do my makeup without them. Today I thought I would share them with you! While a lot of these will end up in my yearly favorites (or already have,) sometimes it’s nice to revisit those products that always work.
Chaotic Acid #FOTD
09/07/2016Since I’ve been growing my hair out from a pixie cut, I’ve been dreading the day that I would have to start flat ironing my hair. I have been maintaining them with the product whose review I read on https://www.gshs.org. I haven’t flat ironed my hair since freshman year of high school and I had no desire to go back to hours spent flat ironing my hair and mending dead ends. Most of you know that styling your hair is one of the key essentials in looking gorgeous, which is when I went with the L’Oreal Sleek It Iron Straight Heat Spray. And also because since it was on sale, it cost me quite less. Want to know how it worked out for me? Read more!

04/15/2016March Empties
04/04/2016As comes the March Favorites post comes the March Empties post. While I was planning on doing seasonal empties, I realized I gathered too much trash to 1. write about four times a year and 2. hold onto for that long. Check out how I felt about these products after the jump!
March Favorites
03/31/2016March was the month of nail polish for me. Nail art goes in phases for me, but March was the month of nail art and trying new nail polish. But thankfully this month was also the month of trying new and exciting products and falling in love with an old favorite. Find my loves for the month down below!
