For a while I wasn’t into nail art. I’m not really sure what happened, but doing my nails became a chore. Painting my nails only takes 10 minutes, but nail art? That can take an hour to do. But in a moment of clarity, I sat down and created this fun rainbow gradient nail art using some stamping. Find out how I got this rainbow arrows #NOTD and how I do my gradients!
I was going through some of the pictures in my WordPress media library and realized I never posted this nail art! How crazy is that? I was absolutely in love with this nail art, even though it didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted. Want to see how I created this rainbow glitter drip? Read down below!
For Halloween this year I set out with the intention to create a full week of nail art designs and makeup looks. But that didn’t happen. I was looking at my collection of stamping plates and found three that had candy, ice cream and donuts and I thought to make a spooky candy-themed nail art. But instead I got this super cute, sugar-coma inducing candy design. I’ve never made stamping nail art decals and actually used them, so creating this nail art was a bit of a challenge for me. I think it turned out pretty good and I have some tips and tricks to create a perfect nail polish decal.
On the heels of my Fall Lip Picks post I thought I would also share my favorite nail polishes for fall. Most of them are new favorites, but I do have some oldies in here too. Read about them below!
It’s summer which means bright and neon nails! I haven’t done much nail art this summer, so I decided to have some fun with this blue and purple gradient with gold stamping!
After a few weeks of awful, terrible nail breaks, I’m finally back with a #NOTD. My nails are finally grown out to a length where I’m not embarrassed to show them. To celebrate this momentous milestone, I decided to bring out my stamping supplies and try stamping with regular nail polish.
After receiving a nail stamping kit for my birthday from my loving boyfriend, (thanks Walter!!) I’ve been playing with stamping for every manicure. While I still have a lot to learn, this once has come out the best so far. I love the marbled colors underneath and the pattern on top. Want to know how I got this? Click read more!
Easter is on Sunday which means bunnies and chicks galore! While my house will be filled with chocolate and dyed eggs, my nails can share the pastel spirit, too. See more photos below!
I never celebrated St. Patrick’s Day much, but this year, especially seeing all of the beautiful nail arts, I was inspired to create my own. This involved sponging, nail vinyls and free hand nail art, so I was definitely in for a challenge. This was surprisingly easy though! Find out how to recreate this at home below.
Today I have a HUGE nail polish haul that I’ve been collecting for a couple of weeks now. I think I have a pretty good collection here! Check out the polishes I got down below!
