So I totally missed the memo last week in the Oh, Hello Stationery Co. Helloigans Facebook group that there we were doing a Blobby PWM week. Where was I? And I’m even a part of the PR group. This just shows how out of touch I am with my communities. To make up for my dumb mistake, I decided to plan this week using the Blobby kit from one of my favorite sticker shops, Oh, Hello Stationery Co. I really used the mini kit and the half boxes sheet, but it’s still a Blobby filled week! Find out how I got this spread in a Week in My Erin Condren down below!
Blobby is Oh, Hello’s character of sorts. It seems as if every shop right now is creating characters or mascots for their shops, but Oh, Hello’s seems like the only original and genuine one. This little guy makes me so damn happy. He’s just a little blob like his name suggests, but he’s so cute?? Anything small and round usually makes my heart happy. When I saw that Oh, Hello was coming out with a Blobby kit I bought it right away! I got two mini kits and a half sheet that should last me the two spreads. I thought I wouldn’t really like this spread because the colors are dark, but I think the pops of pink and blue help make the spread a little bit more bright.
This week was pretty busy! I had a lot going on at work and at home, which means that every aspect of my life was busy. First off this week I had to go to the DMV so that I could get my RI license (which yes, I know I spelt wrong.) I had to miss some work, but at least I’m now a Rhode Island resident. At the same time I got my license I was able to register to vote, so I should be covered for 2018! I was also able to get my EZ Pass this week. I’ve been using my mom’s for the time being and it was super frustrating.
I also got back to working out this week. I haven’t been to the gym much this year and that drives me nuts. Usually I’m pretty good about going two or three times a week. I went on Thursday with my mom and brother and we did about an hour workout each. I burned almost 500 calories! Mom and I also went for yoga on Saturday, but mom was having ankle pain and I didn’t really like the instructor. However, I’ll be taking yoga classes that my work is offering, so hopefully I like that instructor better!
Friday was busy but I got to see more of Newport that I’ve never seen before. I had to go over to Newport Vineyards to pick up wine for work, and man, I have to go back. They make so many wines of premises and even hard cider! I’m seeing some friends in New York in a few weeks and I definitely picking up a bottle of their Rhody Coyote hard cider! And yes, that is what it’s really called.
