I haven’t purchased anything from Sephora in what feels like ages. My last online order was from 2014! During the bi-annual sale, a bunch of items on my wish list were on sale and I figured that with the extra 15% off, why not? Check out my Sephora haul down below!
The first item I put in my basket – and that started this purchase – was the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush palette. I’d wanted to palette when it was full priced at $45, but it was on sale for $30. Plus, the 15%, there was no way I was going to pass this up. I love the variety in the palette. What scares me away from most blush palettes is that they either have blushes that are too dark or consist of mostly oranges and corals. While this palette definitely has orange tones, this palette was created with Gwen Stefani’s complexion and skin tone in mind, so if it works for her it works for me!
The next items in this haul is the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipstick in Rocksteady. This lipstick was also on sale from $18 to $12. Although most of the lipsticks in the Gwen Stefani didn’t impress me, I wanted to pick up this color to expand my red lipstick collection. All of my red lipsticks are matte and this lipstick has a bit of a glossier finish. It will add a different vibe to a red lip. After looking at my collection, Rocksteady falls in between MAC Russian Red and MAC Diva. Russian Red is a bit brighter while Diva is much deeper. I’m excited to try this one!
The last product I got was the Formula X Divine Stardust in Artemis nail polish. I saw these polishes in store and wanted one so bad so I picked one up. I wanted the purple, but it’s not available online. I picked up the silver because everyone needs a basic silver holographic in their collection. There’s so much you can do with a silver holographic nail polish, and this one seems perfect. The holo in this is a mix of scattered and linear holo, and I’m loving it. I can’t wait to get this on my nails.
